Georgia Dight

Georgia joined Campbell Paton & Taylor in January 2022, following a move to Orange from Queensland.

Having worked in specialist family law firms since 2014, Georgia understands the impact which underlying motivators often play in family law. Having a background in law and communications, Georgia provides practical and level-headed advice which allows her clients to focus on resolving their matters quickly, efficiently and cost-effectively.

Georgia is experienced in property settlements involving businesses and complex asset structures and often works with experts in other fields to achieve the best outcomes, such as accountants and financial advisors. She has a particular interest in assisting clients dealing with high conflict parenting matters involving mental health issues, family violence, drug and alcohol issues, child protection aspects, relocations and the recovery of children. Again, taking an inclusive approach to achieve the best outcome in these matters and accordingly, working with family therapists, social workers, psychologists and psychiatrists to do so.

Georgia completed her National Mediation Accreditation in October 2021 and has a keen interest in alternative dispute resolution techniques.
